1. In what ways does your media product use, develop or challenge forms and conventions of real media products?

For this question I have considered using Prezi, because it will help me present to others how I developed forms and conventions which are already set out by many professional magazines. Using Prezi I would be able to show clear comparisons between the music magazine I created ‘The Buzz’ and the magazines in that I chose for my case studies Kerrang and Rocksound. I would do this by putting images side to side and have either a paragraph or annotations that show comparisons or differences. I could even do both.

2. How does your media product represent particular social groups?

For this question I will use PowerPoint because it will help me to present a lot of text in an interesting way that will not bore the reader and it also allows me to include or add relevant images that will help improve the presentation.

3. What kind of media institution might distribute your media product and why

For this question I will use Prezi because I feel that it would help me to easily present my point across in a professional manner easily without the expectations of there being transitions, music or anything like that. This would create a much more professional aspect to my presentation which is important because distribution is one of the most important, if not the most important part of magazines. Another reason is that it would be easy to show elaboration of each point that I make in a clear way.  

4. Who would be the audience for your media product?

For this question I decided to use Powtoon because it is fun and interesting and because my audience for my music magazine is young adults and teenagers I think it would be a good to use presentation software that would also best represent my audience. I think that I would be able to make best use of the animation software for this specific question.

5. How did you attract/address your audience?

 I will use PowerPoint for this question because I will be able to show examples of my work and my case studies which influenced my ideas. I will make use of the transitions to also show quotes of people who commented about different parts of my magazine.

6. What have you learnt about technologies from the process of constructing this product?

I will use Prezi because I can use the way some parts can be set out as mind maps to show how I learned and incorporated new skills as well as show how they impacted/benefited my work. I will use Prezi to focus one slide on one technology and show examples from screenshots of my work from the beginning to the end.

7. Looking back at your preliminary task, what do you feel you have learnt in the progression from it to the full product?

For this question I will use Spider Scribe because I will be doing a lot of writing and I will be able to branch of from each part to show my ability and feelings at the start and show how I developed along with my work I should also be able to give examples so that It does not look to boring.
